The CTP2 roof vent is used for the air outlet or intake of installations using mechanical ventilation systems: single and double flow CMV, domestic kitchen hoods.
It adapts to practically all tile or slate roofing systems, and ensures a good seal.
The cover and the connection duct are made of plastic.
Lead sheet 500 x 385 mm or recycled PVB 600 x 385 mm (Polyvinyl Butyral) available.
Our product complies with the environmental regulations for construction RE2020.
Before installation, it is advisable to apply patina oil to the lead plate in order to avoid any dirt on the neighboring tiles.
– Form the sheet of lead (1) so that it conforms to the underlying shape while avoiding the crimping area.
– If it is a tile roof, it is desirable to make a wedging in the direction of the battens in order to support the sheet of leaden (A) and (B).
– For better waterproofing of the PVB flashing, use a high-adhesion hybrid MS polymer.
– Install the rain cover with the air flow perpendicular to the slope of the roof (see figure opposite).
Warning: it is important to check the airtightness of the duct/ventilation box and the roof duct/vent.
