Before installation, it is advisable to apply patina oil to the lead plate in order to avoid any dirt on the neighboring tiles.
– Form the sheet of lead (1) so that it conforms to the underlying shape while avoiding the crimping area.
– If it is a tile roof, it is desirable to make a wedging in the direction of the battens in order to support the lead sheet (A) and (B).
– For better waterproofing of the PVB flashing, use a high-adhesion hybrid MS polymer.
– Install the rain cover with the air flow perpendicular to the slope of the roof (see figure opposite).
