Roof vents (plastic)

The CARA roof vent is used for the air outlet or intake of installations using mechanical ventilation systems: single and double flow CMV, domestic kitchen hoods.

It adapts to practically all tile or slate roofing systems, and ensures a good seal. The cover and the connection duct are made of plastic.

Before installation, it is advisable to apply patina oil to the lead plate in order to avoid any dirt on the neighboring tiles.

– Form the sheet of lead so that it conforms to the underlying shape while avoiding the crimping.

– If it is a tile roof, it is advisable to

add blocks in the direction of the battens to support the sheet of lead at (A) and (B).

Warning: it is important to check the airtightness of the duct/ventilation box and the roof duct/vent.
