The SHF silencer, entirely made of polystyrene, is installed in all the linings in the upper part of the joinery. Installation can be done inside the lining combined with an adjustment sleeve or with a front side that can be inspected and removed to facilitate maintenance (depending on the installation configurations).
It is associated with a self-regulating MG 22, 30 or 45 m³/h or humidity-controlled ISOLA HY air inlet.
The silencer is placed in the upper part of the joinery before the installation of the lining. Do not forget to cover the walls of the SHF inserted in the lining with insulation in order to avoid any thermal bridges. The MPR sleeve placed across the lining must penetrate the silencer by at least 10 mm. Implementation in linings with thicknesses of 80 + 10 to 100 + 10 mm.
For thicker linings, add a second adjustment sleeve.
Make a
354 x 12mm notch in the shutter piece. Option to fit an MPR sleeve onto the
bottom of the silencer. In this case, make a 365 x 20 mm notch in the shut-off piece for the adjustment sleeve.
Seal the silencer on the shut-off piece with a foam or silicone seal.
Screw the air inlet and the GAE2A external wall grille.
The finishing plate inserted between the air inlet and the MPR sleeve allows a perfect finish on the wall.
