Motorized dampers (dual actuator)

The motorized damper RM2VT dual actuator is a circular damper intended to isolate a branch of a ventilation or air conditioning network. This damper must be powered by 2 cables with a changeover switch.

It requires time management of the electrical power supply (using a PLC or any other system) so as to ensure the opening or closing power supply for 60 seconds (see electrical connection). The dual actuator RM2VT therefore has zero consumption in the open position as well as in the closed position. The RM2VT motorized damper with two bi-directional air flow double actuator is a circular damper designed for the two-stage regulation of a branch of a ventilation or air conditioning network.

The damper adapts to all types of circular ducts with diameters ranging from 100 to 200 mm. It must remain easily accessible for maintenance operations.

The sheaths fit onto the metal connection sleeves without bearing on the plastic part. Sealing is ensured by putty, adhesive tape or collars depending on the type of duct.

The direction of the air flow indicated on the damper must be followed.

When fitting the damper, do not operate the damper manually (risk of damage to the motor).

The metal connection sleeves must never be removed from the plastic part.

The protective cover of the plate containing the internal combustion engines must be completely clear and not covered with glass wool or other material for good ventilation of the engine compartment. The damper should be arranged so that the housing is placed on the top or side but never on the bottom.

The damper is open or closed, it is therefore not possible to limit the opening or closing travel (limit stops preventing complete opening or closing cannot be implemented).

It should not be subjected to prolonged operation in high humidity conditions and never above 90% RH.
