RM-ME dual flowrate

Motorized Dampers

Used for modulated ventilation in the tertiary sector, the motorized damper RM-ME with self-regulated bi-directional air flows operates totally or partially according to a valve controlled by an electric motor.

In the closed position (power off) a full shutter equipped with a Ø 80 or Ø 100 mm flow regulator allows part of the nominal flow to be obtained.

In the open position (powered on), a flow regulator installed upstream of the damper regulates the nominal flow.

Flow regulators ensure a determined flow in a pressure range between 50 and 250 Pa for the minimum flow and between 60 and 250 Pa for the maximum flow.

The damper adapts to all types of circular ducts with diameters ranging from 125 to 200 mm. It must remain easily accessible for maintenance operations.

The sheaths fit onto the metal connection sleeves without bearing on the plastic part. Sealing is ensured by putty, adhesive tape or collars depending on the type of duct.

In a horizontal duct, make sure that it is pointing in the right direction as indicated by the DOWN direction on the front of the regulator (motor at the top).

The direction of the air flow indicated on the damper must be followed.

Do not put screws in the plastic body and less than 20 mm on each side of the latter (risk of blocking the shutter). Beyond this zone, the length of the screws will be

20mm max.

When fitting the damper, do not operate the damper manually (risk of damage to the motor).

The metal connection sleeves must never be removed from the plastic part.

The damper is open or closed, it is therefore not possible to limit the opening or closing travel (prohibition of the implementation of stops preventing complete opening or closing).

It should not be subjected to prolonged operation in high humidity conditions and never above 90% RH.
