On November 13, 2025, two of our employees participated in the first edition of “Innovating with USMB”, organized by the Université Savoie Mont Blanc at the ID-Center in Cluses. This event brought together researchers, companies, and institutional stakeholders around concrete projects combining academic research and industrial innovation.
The program included: researcher pitches, immersive workshops, and company feedback sessions, covering key areas such as energy, environment, artificial intelligence, Indoor Air Quality, and advanced materials. The discussions highlighted the value of research-industry partnerships and opportunities for future collaborations.
Sylvain Franiatte, Research & Innovation Engineer, and Laetitia Ferreira, Communications Manager, notably shared feedback on the NUAGE laboratory, now operational for 1 year. Established in 2024, it is a close collaboration with the LOCIE laboratory, Tenerrdis, the Cerema, and with financial support from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region. This partnership has already yielded concrete results: one doctoral thesis, scientific articles, two product patents filed, and the development of innovative tools such as a digital twin. These advancements strengthen regional industrial competitiveness. This project holds particular importance. It receives increased attention, as the issue of Indoor Air Quality is gaining increasing prominence. This topic is particularly essential for the health and well-being of individuals.
The event concluded with a networking session, paving the way for new collaborations starting in 2026.
Anjos extends a big thank you to USMB for this excellent initiative that highlighted our vision of innovation and our commitment to collaborative research. Thanks also to all participants, companies, and speakers who contributed to making this day a success.
